Mark Carter Digital Projects Consulting is a very tiny and remarkably flexible design and marketing firm focused on digital media projects. The company is based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, but it serves clients across North America. We offer web design and development services, digital-first copywriting and design, video and audio recording and editing, and more. Most of our clients are in agriculture, education, technology, or arts and culture.

About Me

I’m a Kitchener-area digital marketer and college professor. I started Mark Carter Digital Projects Consulting, a tiny company with a huge name, to better serve a handful of longtime clients in 2019.

I moved to Waterloo in 2007 to study Rhetoric & Professional Writing at the University of Waterloo — I graduated with a B.A. in 2011 and an M.A. in Rhetoric & Communication Design in 2012. My academic research focused primarily on the politics and power structures of communication in the digital age. I also did some preliminary work on a natural language processing project with the University’s computer science department.

I have worked as a writer and as a web developer in equal amounts, and both usually within the context of a marketing department. This professional experience informs my teaching in the School of Business at Kitchener’s Conestoga College. Courses I teach include: Introduction to Marketing, Project Management, Creative Strategies, Business Ethics & Leadership.
